Are you a recently qualified Occupational Therapist looking a position to embark on a rewarding career, where you are supported in everything you do? Working alongside a dedicated team you will be working at a service that provides specialist care that is specifically designed to support low and medium secure services for male patients who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. You will be responsible for planning and facilitating evidence-based group and individual programmes, maximising independence and supporting safe re-settlement into the community where possible. You will be a part of an environment that has a strong emphasis on teamwork and will enjoy hands-on experience, receiving guidance and supervision from experienced healthcare professionals. opportunities to move your, As an Occupational Therapist at Farmfield Hospital, you will work in a supportive environment designed to provide specialist care for male patients in secure settings. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload, planning and facilitating evidence-based therapeutic programs, and promoting patient independence. You will engage in teamwork, receive guidance from seasoned professionals, and access continuous professional development opportunities. You will respond swiftly to new admissions, conduct assessments, contribute to risk evaluations, and maintain accurate records. Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their support networks is crucial. A degree in Occupational Therapy, a UK HCPC registration, and experience in mental health settings are required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
