Do you want to be part of an innovative and collaborative Team? The Acute & Urgent Care Directorate are looking for applicants for the Occupational Therapist post. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and drive some exciting developments within a complex and fast-paced environment. You will be supported by the wider Leadership Team to ensure we continue to maintain high quality, patient focused services in line with our national and locally agreed targets.
You will work with individuals to promote independence, maximise functional ability, and support safe discharge planning across Acute settings.
This post is 22.5 hours per week and is a 12-month fixed term contract ending on 05/06/2027., The post holder will provide a clinical and professional service as a member of a Multi-Disciplinary Team [MDT]. Be operationally responsible as a clinician for their own caseload and the supervision of staff as required. This post includes highly skilled clinical work and requires the post holder to adapt to unpredictable changes and demands on the service as well as promoting the implementation of evidence based/person centered practice and to take responsibility for own Continuous Professional Development. You will be expected to uphold professional standards, to ensure high standard and quality clinical care and to promote the involvement of patients and carers in mental health service provision.
