An exciting opportunity has arisen for aBand 5 Occupational Therapistto join Central London Community Healthcare Trust's well-established rotation inBarnet, North London. Rotations includeIntermediate Care Services, Unplanned Care (Rapid Response, D2A), Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Stroke Rehabilitation, each lastingsix monthswith start dates inApril and October. Successful applicants willbenefitfromregular supervision, peer support groups, structured appraisalsand a variety oflearning and development opportunitiesto support career growth.,

  • Undertake occupational therapy assessments for a designated caseload, addressing self-care, productivity, and leisure needs.
  • Develop person-centred intervention plans to maximise independence and reflect clients' goals.
  • Work independently acrosshospital sites, homes, and community settings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver individual and group interventions.
  • Prioritise referrals and manage caseloads within service standards.
  • Work with clients, families, and professionals to set occupational therapy goals as part of care plans.
  • Plan and implement graded activities to achieve therapeutic objectives.
  • Monitor and review treatment to measure progress and adjust interventions.
  • Conduct home assessments,identifyingadaptations or assistive technology to enhance safety and independence.

    We welcome applications from Occupational Therapists with aBSc or MScandHCPC registration, excellent organisational and communication skills and experience assessing needs, settinggoalsand creating treatment plans across diverse healthcare settings.
  • AUK driving licenceand access to a vehicle are desirable. Applicants must be able to work37.5 hours per week across a 7-day serviceand travel between locations.
