The Evesham, Broadway, Bredon and Inkberrow (EBBI) Neighbourhood Team is a friendly, fun loving, and hardworking team who are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us in Evesham. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is innovative and keen to join the team to support in delivering high quality care. A Neighbourhood Team Community OT role is fast paced and responsive to both urgent and planned referrals working within a multi-disciplinary team. Making the patient's home safer and guiding the promotion of independence is where the OT really adds value to the patient experience. Assessments are holistic and focused on maximising independence at every stage. Patients are at the heart of everything we do. The ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels. Working flexibly to provide the service delivery need across the local area. The service operates from 7:30-18:30, Monday to Friday. An enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative thinker to become part of a primary care facing community. The ability to work autonomously and manage your own case load whilst supervising others and working within a multi-disciplinary team. The ability to problem-solve and manage time effectively. Experience of working in a fast paced and varied environment Maintaining contemporaneous clinical notes in accordance with Trust guidelines. The ability to travel to deliver care services. Your typical day will include coordinating your caseload, triaging referrals, allocating workload, and prioritising urgent response assessments alongside colleagues. You will perform holistic, goal focused, patient centred assessments, and develop thorough treatment programmes to meet the goals. You will be supported to develop your skills to be able to manage a varied caseload, spanning all Occupational Therapy specialities.
