This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health professional to lead a well-established service and play a key role in shaping its future direction. Combining clinical expertise with operational leadership, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team whilst ensuring delivery of a high-quality, sustainable and customer-focused Occupational Health Service., Lead, motivate and develop the Occupational Health team
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery and resource management
- Provide coaching, mentoring and professional support to colleagues
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Act as a source of expert Occupational Health advice and guidance
- Drive service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Support wider public health, health promotion and employee wellbeing programmes, Provide specialist clinical advice on fitness for work, rehabilitation, and workplace health risks
- Manage a complex caseload, supporting employees in sensitive or challenging situations
- Work in partnership with managers to address attendance, performance, and wellbeing concerns
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams on workforce health strategy
- Lead and contribute to health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
- Support organisational priorities by contributing to the People Strategy and service plans
- Represent Occupational Health in meetings, case conferences, and cross-service forums
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, legislation, and clinical governance requirements
