Occupational Health Clinical Nurse

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years practise experience. Ideally, they will have had previous occupational experience or exposure to people who require immunisations and screening. They will be based at The Royal London Hospital to support a new contract that has recently commenced. The Employee Wellbeing Service, supports Barts Health staff and external contracts by providing protection, prevention and promotion of holistic health. There is a team of clinical and administrative staff, occupational heath Doctors, psychologists and physiotherapist in the Employee Well-being services. The aim is to contribute to patient care effectively and safely by ensuring staff are supported at work. Main duties of the job The post-holder will work as part of a team, as well as undertaking routine occupational health activities (with appropriate training) including:o Immunisationso Venepunctureo Spirometry and audiologyo Vision Screeningo Audiometryo Pre-employment Health Assessmentso Assist with the Blood Borne Virus Exposure Processeso Assist with contact tracing caseso Provides occupational health advice on infectious disease exposure, symptoms, or diagnosis, following UKHSA and official guidance, and refers to specialists when needed. o You will respond to enquiries over email and on the telephone using our WeCare values to deliver a high standard of customer service.o Delivers training to colleagues and presents information to the wider Trust when required, supporting knowledge sharing and consistent application of guidance.", This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse (with an interest in occupational health) to join the Employee Wellbeing Service.
