Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Registrar to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in obstetrics and gynaecology, demonstrating a commitment to providing high-quality patient care within a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for managing a diverse range of cases, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, as well as gynecological surgeries. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures under supervision, and participating in outpatient clinics, all while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of clinical governance and safety.
The successful candidate will hold a postgraduate medical qualification, ideally an MRCOG or equivalent, and should have completed relevant foundational training in obstetrics and gynaecology. Experience in managing obstetric emergencies and a solid understanding of women's health issues will be essential. In addition to clinical expertise, we value strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective relationships with patients and colleagues alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development, including access to training programs, mentorship, and support for further specialization. Our institution is committed to employee well-being, providing a competitive salary, generous leave entitlements, and opportunities for research and academic involvement. Join us in making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of women in our community.
