Nursing Support Worker (Theatre)

As a health care support worker in theatre, you will provide excellent care for our patients and skilled support for the registrants and the wider theatre team. Glangwili hospital's 9 operating theatres provides care to patients undergoing procedures in Orthopaedic trauma, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, ENT, Urology and Emergency theatres. Ideally you will have achieved the Agored Cymru Perioperative support in Wales, level 3 or be working towards this qualification., You will provide skilled assistance to the registrant and wider perioperative team in the 'circulating' role. Have knowledge of the specialities affiliated with Glangwili General Hospital and provide patient care in accordance with health board policy.

Participate as a member of the perioperative team and have excellent communication skills and the ability to work to exact timeframes. Please note, this role has an out of hours and on-call commitment. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
