Nursing Support Worker (Mental Health)

The successful applicant will provide psychologically informed brief interventions to these children and young people. This will be done with the aim of promoting their emotional and mental health in collaboration and partnership with other agencies. The post holder will provide health care duties under the supervision of the qualified practitioner and implement nursing care in line with the assessed need of the young person or adolescent within a community setting, as part of a team within the GP Youth Project. The post holder will, on occasion deliver clinical support and interventions autonomously in the community / hospital setting. Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
