Full Job Description

Following training, you will perform a range of clinical tasks, including:
- Venepuncture
- Measuring and recording vital signs, with prompt escalation of concerns to registered healthcare professional
- Supporting the outpatient and inpatient imaging lists
- Blood sugar checks
- NEWS2
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated Band 3 Nursing Support Worker to join the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Outpatients nursing team. We are looking for a dynamic individual who has an interest in Health Promotion. The role will support the delivery of the Outpatient clinics, in addition to daily rotation to the Cardiac Imaging Suite, to assist with the facilitation of Transoesophageal Echocardiogram. Good communication and interpersonal skills are vital, along with an ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. There will be opportunities to work alongside the Practise Educators to support the development of your extended skills, such as venepuncture.
