Nursing Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated and innovative Nursing Support Worker to join the nursing team on Ward 7 Prince Philip Hospital. Ward 7 specialises in Breast, Colorectal, General and Urology Elective Surgery. We are seeking a forward thinking, professional individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills to provide gold standard evidenced based care to our patients. The successful candidate can look forward to working in a proactive and supportive professional environment. The role requires excellent organisational skills, adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent admissions and discharges. The post holder will contribute to maintaining patient flow, supporting timely care and promoting a positive patient experience., There is an opportunity to learn new skills andgain further experience in caring for acutely unwell patientswhile developing professionally within a positive and challenging environment.This role will require you to undertake delegated clinical observations and to communicate effectively. The unit operates a variety of shift patterns to suit service requirements including days/night rotation. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
