Full Job Description

The post holder will carry continuing responsibility for a defined caseload, including the setting of standards of care, the assessment of care needs and development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The post holder will provide advanced nursing expertise to a specific patient group and will contribute to the development of the specialty service as well as contributing to the strategic direction of nursing within the Trust. The post holder will ensure cost effective use of resources., The well-being of our staff is of the upmost importance to us. If you are offered a role at our Trust, and fall into the increased and higher risk categories as set out by Public Health England (PHE) and NHSI/E, your line manager will complete an risk assessment with you. This will be completed in conjunction with the latest guidance from Public Health England in relation to Covid-19. This is to support and manage your recruitment and employment within your employing organisation.   • Must have previous experience working at B7 (or above) Nurse Practitioner level
  • Experience of service development and/or change management
  • Audit and standard setting
  • Staff management experience
  • Highly developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and experience
  • Standards of professional practice
  • Experience of recruitment and selection
