Nursing Associate - Early Intervention Team

The post holder will work primarily with the Early Intervention team 4 days a week completing physical health checks but work with the Bury Treatment team for 1 day a week doing Depot injections and working in Clozapine clinics. Performing Physical health checks for patients open to the Early Intervention service working closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Team manager along with care coordinators for the client group. The post is both clinic based in the community and in patients own homes. To work as a Nurse associate in the community with the Early Intervention team and Treatment / Physical health teams. To perform physical health checks including BP monitoring, Pulse, venepuncture, ECG and administering depot medication.
