Full Job Description

The post holder will be required to assist the multi-disciplinary team members in the delivery of care and treatment to people using our services. The care provided will encompass social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of the individuals.

We expect the applicant to be empathetic to the needs of the people receiving our care. You will be joining team of people who are passionate about championing the care provision of adults in North Devon.

You will also be responsible for undertaking practical procedures, this can and will include supporting the patient with personal care, undertaking physical health monitoring under the supervision of trained nursing staff as required. There will also be the opportunities to support the patient group with meaningful activities and their recovery.

We are seeking experienced and aspiring Band 3 Health Care Assistants to join our team on Moorland View.

You will quickly become part of a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team where you will be using your skills and experience to deliver a package of care to people on our ward that helps them on their road to recovery. We passionately believe that with our help, people can improve their mental health to recover independence and return to their local community.

We are looking for people who share our Trust values in delivering high quality care and treatment, who enjoy working as part of a proactive Multi-Disciplinary team and want to make a difference in improving peoples lives every day.

Our inpatient services operates on a 24/7 shift basis which supports us offering flexible working patterns. Please apply if you are looking for Full or Part time Hours. You will qualify for unsocial enhancements in addition to basic pay (even whilst completing the training programme).

The role will require you to hold a Care Certificate but it's not essential that you already hold this, as we can support you to achieve this whilst learning in the role., About Devon Partnership Trust
