Nursery Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an energetic, caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our Pre-Prep team. An approved Level 3 Early Years qualification suitable for working within EYFS ratios is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of our Nursery children aged 3+, working closely with the class teacher to provide a stimulating, nurturing and engaging environment. Teaching and learning in our Nursery is rooted in play-based exploration and 'in the moment' learning, supporting children as they develop confidence, curiosity and independence.

We are looking for someone with a bright and caring nature who genuinely enjoys working with young children. You will be enthusiastic, patient and attentive to individual needs, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents. You will share our commitment to providing high-quality early years provision and ensuring every child feels happy, secure and valued.

This is a full-time, term-time only position, working Monday to Friday during term time, including 1-2 days at the beginning or end of each term. Normal working hours are 8.00am to 4.30pm, with one day each week until 5.30pm to support our after-school provision.
