Full Job Description

  • Take a shared responsibility for the welfare, learning and development of a group of children within the Nursery.
  • Working with initiative and creativity to foster an environment that encourages the children's all round development.
  • Practical knowledge of planning experiences that meet the requirements of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills together with an ability to be a supportive member of our team, with the potential to work across the EYFS settings in our school.

    A recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare and education is desirable.
  • Good level of spoken and written language is essential.

    The post will be for 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year) - 8.30am to 15.30pm each day excluding lunch break; the salary range is FTE £25,133 - £27,710 (pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications; the actual salary range is £19,519 - £21,521.
