Nursery Practitioner

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Third in Charge (otherwise known as a Senior Nursery Practitioner within YMCA BCG) who will help to provide a warm and welcoming environment within either nursery, where young children and their families can feel valued and obtain positive help and support. You will have experience of planning and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and be motivated and passionate about working with children and their families, striving to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for children to grow and develop. What will you do? Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing and maintaining high-quality education and care for children from 6 months - 5 years.
• Responsibility for your room, such as caring for sick children or minor injuries, checking and preparing resources for use, and ensuring the room is clean at the end of the day.
• Being part of the Nursery Senior Team, you will provide daily leadership within the room, set a positive example to childcare practitioners, and work closely with the Nursery Manager and Senior Managers to ensure good practice.
