Sherrardswood School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant and supportive Nursery team. About the Role Contract: 1 Year Maternity Cover , term time only + 6 weeks Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Start date: Immediate Start Available About You : We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds or is willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification in childcare (essential)
  • Has previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (essential)
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for turning everyday moments into engaging learning opportunities
  • You will also be able to:
  • Plan and deliver fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and exploratio
  • Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured learning
