Full Job Description

  • Provide high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS
  • Create opportunities for children to explore, investigate and use their imagination
  • Plan experiences around children's individual interests and developmental needs
  • Encourage independence, confidence and learning through purposeful play
  • Make creative use of the nursery's natural materials and inspiring learning spaces
  • Observe children's development and support meaningful next steps
  • Build positive relationships with children and their families
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain a welcoming and stimulating environment
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
  • All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.

    full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous
  • experience within a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • Confidence supporting both individualised learning and purposeful play
  • The ability to recognise children's interests and turn them into engaging learning opportunities
  • A warm, nurturing and responsive approach
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    £30,500 per year | 40 Hours per Week
