Full Job Description
With rooms dedicated to each age group, a large garden, and a warm, nurturing ethos that puts children's safety and happiness at the heart of everything, this is a setting where high standards are embedded in daily practice. They are now looking for a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team in the 2-3 year old room - someone who understands this age group inside out and has the warmth, energy, and skill to support them through one of the most exciting stages of early childhood.,
- Delivering high-quality, nurturing care and early years education for children aged 2-3 years
- Creating a safe, stimulating environment within the dedicated room that supports this age group's unique developmental needs
- Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
- Making full use of the nursery's large garden to enrich children's daily outdoor experiences
- Observing and documenting children's development and progress, sharing updates meaningfully with families
- Building warm, consistent key person relationships with children and their families
- Contributing positively to the team and upholding the nursery's Ofsted Outstanding standards
Level 3 Early Years qualification - essential - Experience working with 2-3 year olds within a nursery setting - strongly preferred
- A warm, patient, and energetic approach suited to this age group
- A solid understanding of EYFS and the developmental needs of toddlers
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and a committed team player
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding early years care
Up to £31,100 per annum - Competitive annual leave
