You will oversee the team, maintain high standards of safeguarding and care, work in partnership with families and ensure effective delivery of the EYFS curriculum.
Based in the CM16 area, the setting is designed to provide a home-from-home environment with enriching learning spaces, outdoor provision and a holistic approach to children's development and wellbeing.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operation of the nursery and preschoolProvide effective leadership, guidance and support to the Early Years teamEnsure consistently high standards of safeguarding, care and child protectionOversee effective delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculumSupport planning and assessment that reflects children's individual learning and developmentPromote safe, nurturing and stimulating experiences for children aged three months to five yearsBuild positive and professional relationships with parents, carers and the wider communityManage nursery procedures, records, compliance and quality standardsSupport recruitment, induction, training and ongoing staff developmentMonitor the learning environment, resources, routines and outdoor
provisionEssential RequirementsYou must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.Relevant early years qualification at Level 3 or above, or an equivalent recognised qualificationSubstantial experience in nursery management or senior early years leadershipStrong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, child development and nursery complianceAbility to lead a team and ensure consistently high standards of care, learning and wellbeingConfident, approachable and effective communicator with families and colleaguesAbility to take responsibility for the full day-to-day operation of a nursery settingAlso suitable for: Day Nursery Manager, Early Years Manager, Preschool Manager, Nursery Operations ManagerCompany CultureAs a Nursery Manager, you will help establish a new Epping setting within an established early years group with over 20 years of experience.
