Full Job Description
King's House School was founded in Richmond in 1946 and has been a boys' prep school since then until September 2024, when girls joined for the first time as we move to co-education. The school operates on three sites in or around Kings Road, which is on the very pleasant setting of Richmond Hill. The Senior Department (for pupils from Year 4 to Year 8) is at 68 Kings Road, the Junior Department on its own site just down the hill, and the Nursery around the corner on Princes Road. The school also has a 35-acre sports ground just over Barnes Bridge, where there are numerous pitches, athletics facilities, cricket nets, tennis courts, two 3G pitches and all-weather pitch. As a Nursery Classroom and Lunchtime Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our pupils during lunch breaks, helping them whilst they eat their lunch, as well as helping the team set up and tidy up after lunch. You will also be responsible for helping the class teacher during the school day. The role has the potential to include After School Care hours.
- Salary: £13.79/£16.89 per hour (based on qualifications), for more information or for a specific annual salary, email the HR Manager.
- Hours: 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday during term time. The role has the potential to be 10am to 6pm for the right candidate.
- Reporting to: Head of the Nursery.
- Contract type: Part time, term time only, fixed term contract (until 7 July 2027). This role has the potential to become permanent.
