Full Job Description
- Support the overall management of the nursery to ensure high-quality childcare for children and families
- Deputise for the Nursery Manager and take full responsibility in their absence
- Support staff management, supervision, training, and performance
- Assist with setting and monitoring nursery goals, targets, and occupancy levels
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, Health & Safety, and company policies
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and deliver excellent customer service
- Support financial administration, occupancy, and fee collection
- Contribute to Ofsted readiness and continuous improvement
- Assist with recruitment, inductions, appraisals, and staff development
- Stay up to date with childcare legislation and best practice
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - Previous leadership or management experience in an early years setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Health & Safety
- Confident leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Professional, proactive, and team-focused approach
