Summary
Nest Royal Wharf is our nursery for babies and young toddlers at 30 Royal Crest Avenue, E16, by Pontoon Dock DLR. We're looking for a permanent Nursery Cook to run our kitchen and cook fresh, nutritious food for our children every day.
What you'll do:
- Cook fresh breakfasts, lunches, teas and snacks from our seasonal menu, which changes each term and rotates on a four-week cycle
- Cater safely for allergies and dietary needs in our nut-free kitchen
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards, including temperature and cleaning records
- Manage stock, ordering and deliveries
- Work closely with the nursery team, and occasionally help children with simple baking sessions
