Full Job Description
- Preparing and serving balanced, nutritious
- Ensuring all meals are prepared in accordance with allergy and dietary requirements
- Implementing rigorous processes to prevent cross-contamination, including clearly labelled, separate utensils and preparation areas
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen at all times, meeting all food hygiene and Health & Safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations including COSHH and food hygiene legislation
- Maintaining accurate records related to food preparation, cleaning schedules, stock levels, and equipment maintenance

- Experience working within a kitchen environment - essential
- Previous experience within a nursery, school, or similar setting - essential
- Strong knowledge of allergen management, dietary requirements, and nutrition for young children
- Food hygiene qualification - Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and reliable
- A genuine understanding of the importance of safe food preparation in an early years environment
