Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to work part-time in a welcoming nursery setting within the CF23 area of Cardiff, starting in April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support early years development and play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. You will work as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care and early years education, helping children develop key skills through play, exploration, and structured activities. What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the daily care, learning, and development of the children
  • Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
  • Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
  • Work closely with colleagues and room leaders to follow EYFS guidelines
  • Observe and record children's progress where required

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting (preferred)
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Good understanding of child development and EYFS
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting early development
  • Strong communication skills with both children and adults
  • Reliability and commitment to maintaining high standards of care
