Nursery Assistant

As a Nursery Assistant, you will work closely with and support the Room Leader to ensure that children receive the highest possible standards of care and education. We are looking for someone with a caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with young children.

This full-time, all-year-round position requires a Nursery Assistant with a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification and a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)., · Experience in similar work in a similar environment

· Must have suitable experience in working with children aged under 24 months

· GCSEs in English and Mathematics, Grade C or above, or equivalent

· Good knowledge of EYFS and Early Years practice

· SEND experience or experience with individual needs

· Must have full and relevant level 3 or above early years qualification and an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EFYS):

o NNEB o NVQ Level 3 Early Years Care and Education o NVQ Level 3 Early Years Educator o NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce o Diploma in Early Years o BTech in Early Years

This is a full-time, all-year-round position, and ideally, candidates will hold a Level 3 childcare qualification.

Hours of Work: Full-time, all year round

Salary: From £26,437 to £28,080 annual salary, dependent on qualifications

Holiday: Six weeks paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
