Full Job Description

An experienced senior Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner is required to lead and develop the multi- disciplinary team across Anaesthetics, Scrub and Recovery.
Responsible for over 20 registered staff, the post holder will support the development of the existing service and staff.
We regularly support learners from multiple disciplines.
You will need to be a good leader, communicator, role model and have excellent standards of practice., The purpose of the Team Leader (TL) position is to provide on-going professional and clinical leadership to the theatre teams who are delivering perioperative care, whilst working collaboratively with the clinicians (surgeon and anaesthetist) as part of the wider multi-professional team.
The TL will assume the delegated responsibility for managing and leading the delivery of care, in a rostered shift, for patients entering the department.
