Nurse Associate

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Nurse Associate to join our Primary Care team within a GP practice environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, supporting the management of long-term conditions, delivering preventative healthcare and carrying out a range of clinical interventions. You will work closely with GPs, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and other health and social care professionals, helping to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. The role offers excellent support and supervision, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and progression, including support for Nursing Associates who aspire to become Registered General Nurses (RGNs).,

• Deliver a range of clinical interventions including health checks, chronic disease monitoring, venepuncture, ECGs, immunisations, wound care and patient assessments to support high-quality patient care.
• Promote health and wellbeing by supporting patients to manage long-term conditions, encouraging participation in screening programmes and providing advice to improve health outcomes.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining accurate clinical records, supporting care planning, contributing to service improvements and ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care.
  
  Registered Nurse Associate on the NMC register with a Nursing Associate Foundation Degree qualification.
• Ability to deliver safe clinical care, including patient assessments, long-term condition monitoring and health promotion activities within scope of practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills, with the ability to use clinical systems, prioritise workload and maintain accurate patient records.
