NS 18.33 Senior Lead for Evaluation and Health Economics

• Provide strategic leadership for evaluation, evidence generation and health economics Manage and develop the Evaluation and Health Economics teams Oversee design, assurance and delivery of evaluation and economic analysis Advise executive leaders, commissioners and partners on evidence-based decision-making Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations Embed evaluation and economic assessment within commissioning and transformation processes Promote best practice methodologies, standards and continuous improvement Build system-wide capability through leadership, guidance and partnership working Ensure evidence and value considerations inform service transformation and resource allocation Tasks Master's degree or equivalent senior-level experience Advanced knowledge of health economics and evaluation methodologies Evidence of continuing professional development Ability to communicate highly complex or sensitive analytical information Experience influencing senior stakeholders and presenting to large audiences Planning across short, medium and long-term timeframes with resource adjustment Experience delivering programmes and services on time Experience leading and developing high-performing teams Ability to manage competing priorities and quality standards Experience developing analytical capability through training and mentoring Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods Experience with SQL, R or Python and relevant data platforms Ability to work independently and provide specialist advice Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in complex environments Key requirements
