NQ Solicitor or Solicitor - EL / PL

This role involves handling a range of insurance claims, both international and domestic. Our client list is prestigious and growing. We also advise prestigious corporate clients, either through insurance work or directly. We act for a large number of insurers, many of whom are household names, dealing with Defendant Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL) matters. We offer a hybrid working pattern and are flexible on office attendance based on candidate location. Responsibilities To handle a mixed caseload of defendant fast-tack and multi-track claims, in Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), in addition to assisting senior team members (Partner and Senior Associate) on high value complex cases. Advising clients,
including insurers and corporate clients, on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy. Drafting documents, preparing for court, and engaging in settlement negotiations. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery. Staying updated on legal developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law. What will help you succeed in this role? Essential : We are seeking applications from newly qualified to experienced Solicitors, preferably NQ - 5 years PQE. Demonstrable interest and prior experience in Defendant Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL) is ESSENTIAL to this role.. Experience handling defendant personal injury cases, either independently or in a supporting role to senior team members. Previous experience within a defendant insurance law firm. Proven ability to manage a personal caseload effectively. A team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail. Desirable : Experience handling in your own right or
