Full Job Description

Working closely with Consultants, RMOs and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will support inpatient care across designated wards, contribute to clinical governance, and ensure safe, high-quality care for patients undergoing aesthetic and reconstructive procedures., Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical support for aesthetic and reconstructive surgery patients.
  • Review and manage non-cancer / non-haematology inpatients, including escalation and documentation.
  • Assess patients at the request of senior nursing or medical staff and manage emergencies with consultant guidance.
  • Participate in ward rounds, MDTs, Journal Club, Grand Rounds and safety huddles.
  • Ensure accurate handover and maintain high-quality clinical records.
  • Governance & Teaching:
  • Attend RMO and Clinical Assistant meetings (12 per year).
  • Contribute to M&M meetings, Datix reviews and quality improvement projects.
  • Support informal teaching for nursing staff and RMOs.
  • Provide cross-site clinical support when required.

    We are seeking a Non-Resident Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow to join our medical team at The London Clinic. This role is ideal for doctors with experience in plastic, aesthetic or reconstructive surgery who want to develop their skills within a leading independent hospital., MBBS or equivalent
  • ALS certification
  • SHO or Specialist Registrar experience in plastic/aesthetic surgery
  • Post-foundation medical or surgical experience
  • Research or publications (Desirable)
  • Competence in core clinical procedures (IV access, cannulation, blood gases, ECG interpretation, basic imaging)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage deteriorating patients and escalate appropriately
  • Excellent documentation and organisational skills
  • Professional, empathetic and patient-centred approach
