Horder Healthcare is seeking an exceptional Non-Executive Director (Nurse) to join our Board at an exciting time in our journey. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in helping Horder Healthcare deliver its ambition to provide safe, effective and compassionate care to every patient. As part of our Board, you will play a critical role in influencing how services evolve, how quality is assured, and how a positive, high-performing culture is sustained across the organisation. - Work alongside a collaborative, values-driven Board committed to excellence, As a Non-Executive Director, you will contribute to the overall leadership and governance of Horder Healthcare. Youll bring an independent perspective, helping ensure strong decision-making, robust governance and outstanding organisational performance. In this nursing-focused NED role, you will:
- Provide oversight of clinical governance, patient safety and safeguarding
- Ensure quality, risk and assurance systems are effective and meaningful
- Keep patient experience and outcomes at the heart of Board decisions
- Offer senior clinical insight to influence strategy, transformation and quality improvement
- Chair the Clinical Governance Committee, playing a key leadership role
- Act as an ambassador for the organisation and its values
