Full Job Description
As a Non-Executive Director, you will contribute to the collective leadership of CSH, providing independent oversight, constructive challenge and strategic insight to support effective governance and decision-making.
You will bring strong financial and assurance expertise, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify key issues and risks, and provide thoughtful challenge to the Executive Team and Board.
While your particular contribution will be in finance, audit, risk and assurance, you will take a broad organisational perspective and contribute across the full range of Board matters, including sustainability, growth opportunities and commercial decision-making where appropriate.
significant senior or Board-level experience in finance, audit, risk or assurance
a strong understanding of financial management, reporting, controls and organisational risk
experience of operating in a complex, regulated or highly accountable environment
experience of audit and assurance processes
a recognised professional accountancy qualification or equivalent experience
experience of leading, managing or running a business, commercial enterprise or substantial operational function, bringing commercial acumen and strategic insight.
Experience within healthcare, public services, social enterprise or another purpose-led organisation would be advantageous, as would experience running or leading a commercial organisation.

We are seeking an experienced Non-Executive Director to join our Board, bringing strong expertise in finance, audit, risk and assurance. We are particularly interested in candidates who can combine this with experience of leading or running business, commercial enterprise or significant operational function, bringing a broader commercial perspective to Board discussions.
