Full Job Description

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries
  • Maintain safety and security procedures throughout the night shift
  • Carry out regular security checks across the hotel
  • Provide general overnight support to hotel departments
  • Assist with light maintenance or housekeeping tasks if required
  • Set up meeting rooms and public areas as needed
  • Serve food and beverages to guests during the night
  • Check guests in and out when required
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, following hotel procedures
  • Complete basic reports and handover notes for management, With its royal history, splendid architecture, and superbly central location, the Carlisle Station Hotel, part of the Sure Collection By Best Western, is one of the most desirable places to stay in Cumbria's capital.     • The hotel features 70 comfortable bedrooms, including family rooms and singles. It also boasts a stunning Victorian ballroom that can host up to 180 guests, and 5 versatile meeting rooms accommodating up to 220 delegates.

    We're looking for a dependable and motivated Night Team Member to support hotel operations overnight and help ensure guests feel safe, comfortable, and well supported during the night shift. This role is ideal for someone calm, reliable, and practical-who understands that reassurance, routine, and quiet efficiency are essential to a positive overnight guest experience.,
  • Is reliable, responsible, and calm, especially during overnight hours
  • Enjoys helping guests feel safe and reassured
  • Is comfortable working independently while following clear procedures
  • Takes pride in keeping environments tidy, secure, and well organised
  • Has previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or security (helpful but not essential)
