Cygnet Group are looking for a confident, caring and motivated Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our friendly team at Devon Lodge. If you're passionate about helping others live fulfilling, independent lives, this is a role where you can genuinely make a difference every single day. We are offering a 43-hour contract, working a variety of daytime shifts. Some shifts may start at 7 pm, while others may finish at 10 am, across a 7-day rota (including two weekends per month). Devon Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment, promoting independence and community integration. Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on each person's specific needs. We understand that consistency and continuity of care are important for the individuals we care for.What You'll Be Doing
- Providing person-centred, flexible support tailored to each individual
- Offering emotional and practical guidance to help people thrive
- Supporting with daily living skills, personal care and wellbeing needs
- Assisting with medical and welfare requirements
- Recording and reporting on health, progress and any concerns
- Safeguarding and promoting the safety and dignity of those in your care
- Helping maintain a clean, safe and positive environment
