Nights Manager

Join our team at Heythrop Park, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 311-bedroom hotel with two theatres, a spa, and three restaurants is set within 440 acres of parkland in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Salary: 33,000 - 35,000 dependent on experience.

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for the hotel operation during the night shift, managing a small team of night receptionists and cleaners to ensure the smooth running of the hotel and to ensure the safety and security of the guests and team throughout the night.

  • A leader who has a genuine passion for working nights
  • Able to manage, allocate and delegate roles from security checks, fire walks and any other relevant health and safety checks during the night
  • Willingness to challenge if standards aren't meeting required levels
  • Ability to effectively lead, motivate and engage your leaders and team, even at peak times.
  • Control deployment of labour within the area of responsibility
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements.
  • Willingness to challenge if standards aren't meeting required levels.
  • Be able to make decisions confidently.
  • Capable of monitoring guest insights, using feedback to drive a culture of improvement.
  • Ability to coach and develop team to improve performance.
  • Able to create a rewarding environment that encourages high team engagement.

What skills do I need?

  • Be able to help the retail team by declaring tills/ terminals on busy nights.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and operating site main electrical, gas and water shut offs.
  • Identifying and apprehending intruders to the site and informing the authorities.
  • Be guest focused, always having a positive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements.
  • Be able to make decisions confidently.
