Full Job Description
Hours - 36 hours per week ( 3 x 12 hour shifts per week). Shifts are on a 4 week rota basis and include some weekends., The Successful candidate will be required to work three waking watch shifts each week (12 hours per shift from 19:30pm to 07:30 am - 36 hours/ week) including weekends as well as assisting the team in covering holidays and sickness periods of other care team members. Care is provided on a 2:1 basis so you will be working with another carer at all times.
Motivated and enthusiastic person required to join an established team of carers to deliver care to our 25 year old young man with complex care needs living in his family home.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, backed by previous health care experience. Driving licence essential. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
Our son has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and is wheelchair bound. He is highly dependent and needs maximum assistance; he requires full personal care.
