An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and progressive 24-hour veterinary hospital in Cheshire. This role is ideal for a confident vet who enjoys emergency and critical care, thrives in a sole charge environment and is looking for an excellent work-life balance with a 7-on, 14-off rota.

The successful candidate will become part of a dedicated hospital night team, caring for inpatients and treating out-of-hours emergency cases. While working sole charge, they will be fully supported throughout each shift by an experienced team of veterinary nurses, allowing them to provide outstanding patient care.

The practice is committed to delivering gold-standard veterinary medicine and offers an exciting and varied caseload that supports continued clinical development. The successful vet will have access to an impressive range of facilities, including a CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasound, dental radiography, Doppler echocardiography, flexible and rigid endoscopy, laparoscopy, electrocautery and advanced anaesthesia equipment.

Located within easy reach of both the Peak District and Lake District, the practice also benefits from excellent transport links and a short train journey to Manchester, offering the perfect balance of countryside and city living.
