About the Role


Campania is a spacious Victorian home in Weston-super-Mare, just a short walk from the seafront and pier. It provides specialist support for individuals living with mental health conditions, including Korsakoff's syndrome and Alcohol-Related Brain Damage, with care for up to 41 residents.


Support Worker Contract: £12.71-£13.21 per hour


Hours: Contracted to an average of 6 hours per week every other Saturday


Night Shift: 18:45 PM - 07:00 AM


Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided


5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)


Role Overview


As a Support Worker, you will provide high quality, person-centred support within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. Your responsibilities include:



  • Supporting residents with daily routines, including personal care, mobility, and mealtimes

  • Helping to maintain independence while ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity

  • Responding sensitively to changing needs and contributing to a calm, stable, and supportive environment

  • Following individual care plans and supporting structured routines

  • Building positive relationships with residents

  • Contributing to a safe and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing and confidence


This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care who are willing to learn and develop within a specialist setting.
