Full Job Description
The home provides nursing care for older adults and runs with a small, stable night team. As a night nurse, you will be responsible for providing person-centred clinical care and working with residents who have ongoing nursing needs.,
- Provide safe, effective overnight nursing care to residents with nursing needs
- Complete and oversee clinical tasks including catheter care, PEG feeds, bloods, and wound care
- Monitor residents' condition and respond appropriately to changes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records
- Work closely with care staff to ensure continuity of care and safety
- Uphold CQC standards, safeguarding, and professional practice at all times
This role requires current NMC registration and recent experience as a nurse in a similar setting. - Applicants must be clinically confident working independently at night.
- Tier 2 sponsorship is not available; you must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship., Active NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
- Recent experience as a nurse in a nursing home or similar clinical setting
- Confidence and competence with catheters, PEG feeds, bloods, and wound care
- Experience with electronic systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions overnight
- Right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship
Pay: £21.00-£22.50 per hour - Hours: 42 hours per week
- Shifts: Nights, 8:00pm-8:00am
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
