Full Job Description
- Carry out routine cleaning duties in line with agreed schedules and required standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment across your allocated areas
- Empty and dispose of waste safely
- Replenish consumables such as paper towels, toilet rolls and soap
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly, following COSHH requirements
- Use PPE and appropriate warning signs when required
- Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the shift
- Report any health & safety concerns, accidents or near misses to your Supervisor
- Work closely with colleagues, management and client employees to deliver an excellent service
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide a friendly, helpful service at all times
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, has good time management skills and is comfortable working in a large, active production environment., - Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
- Good time management and the ability to stay on top of your workload
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures and health & safety requirements
- Basic literacy skills
- Physically able to be active for prolonged periods, including frequent walking, bending and stooping
