Night Care Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and professional Night Care Team Leader to oversee and support our out-of-hours care team.

In this role, you will be the primary point of leadership and support during the night, ensuring our out-of-hours service runs safely, smoothly, and to the highest standards of care.

Working 10 scheduled night shifts per calendar month, you will maintain operational compliance, conduct supervisory checks, mentor frontline night care staff, and handle any escalations or emergencies that occur outside regular office hours.

Key Responsibilities

Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise night care staff on shift, ensuring consistent compliance with company policies, care plans, and professional standards.

Quality Assurance & Spot Checks: Carry out regular, unannounced out-of-hours spot checks, monitoring staff attendance, timekeeping, PPE usage, uniform compliance, and client care quality.

On-Shift Support & Escalation: Serve as the first point of contact for frontline staff during the night, resolving issues, offering guidance, and managing emergencies or safeguarding concerns in line with company procedures.

Reporting & Handovers: Provide detailed morning handover reports and shift logs to the registered manager and daytime office team, flagging any performance, safeguarding, or operational concerns promptly.
