Night Auditor

The Night Auditor performs night auditing duties, supervising Night Receptionists and assisting Night Manager to ensure smooth hotel operations working a 4 on / 4 off rotation at night. This role is fixed term for 12 months as a maternity cover.

Coordinate and supervise all night team members; support and assist when and where necessary

Ensure hotel Lobby is manned at all times, guests are acknowledged and greeted with the smile and eye contact

Work closely with Risk and Compliance team to assist in ensuring health and safety of the staff members and guests of the hotel

Complete the Night Audit each night, submitting reports to the relevant teams.

Cross check daily submissions, allowances, charges performed by the Front Office team.

Ensure that all Night team members are fully trained in Fire Evacuation procedures

Coordinate and assist Security team to manage the evacuations of the hotel

Inspect Front of House regularly for cleanliness, making sure that hotel lobby and forecourt are ready for the day

Ensure that all guests enquiries, requests, and complaints dealt in an efficient and professional manner

Ensure all Front of House night procedures and checklists are completed

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent organisation skills

Ability to work well under pressure

Proven experience in the use of Hotel Property Management Systems and tools

Proven experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, personal computers and software programs
