Full Job Description

Demonstrate and promote a thorough knowledge of company guidelines and authority levels to achieve new-business targets.
Provide excellent service to brokers and ensure deadlines are met.
Underwrite a variety of exposures within defined authority.
Attend underwriting meetings and provide insight into developments, trends and market conditions.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships within the wider business.

Do you have new business underwriting experience and looking to progress your career with a truly people focused business?, Demonstrable underwriting experience - ideally in social welfare/care risks (commercial insurance also considered).
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Track record in building and developing broker relationships.
Proficient IT skills including MS Office and broker e-trading platform.
Proven ability to secure business while maintaining underwriting discipline.
