Neurology Clinical Fellow IMT2 Equivalent

James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Clinical Fellow/IMT3 to join our expanding and forward-thinking Neurology service within a supportive coastal University Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing neurology services within a collaborative and clinically ambitious organisation, while enjoying an exceptional quality of life on the Norfolk coast. The successful candidate will join an established and friendly multidisciplinary team, working alongside experienced Consultant Neurologists, specialist nurses and wider MDT colleagues to deliver high-quality care across a broad range of neurological conditions. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to service development, teaching, research and innovation within a growing department with strong links to the University of East Anglia and Norwich Medical School. • Ongoing clinical research activity, This post offers an excellent opportunity for a doctor at IMT3-equivalent level to gain broad experience in Neurology within a supportive District General Hospital. The postholder will join a compassionate team that values supervision, professional development and multidisciplinary working.
The successful candidate will contribute to inpatient care, ward rounds, referrals, outpatient clinics and the lumbar puncture service. The role provides a balanced mix of service delivery and development while reflecting the scope of a DGH neurology service. Working closely with consultant neurologists and colleagues, the postholder will assess and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including exposure to acute neurology, follow-up planning, clinic work and procedural experience. There will be opportunities to develop areas of interest, including outpatient practice, lumbar puncture expertise, quality improvement and teaching. This role is ideal for strengthening neurology experience within a supportive, patient-centred environment.
