Our services use the Portsmouth ND Profiling Tool and provide services in partnership with the local authority run ND MDTs and third sector organisations.

We are looking for someone who can help us lead and develop the ND assessment offer in Southampton city as part of the emerging ND MDT.

The ND assessment service sits within the CAMHS sub-directorate, and you will be part of the wider CAMHS and Child and Family leadership team with the Trust. You will also have an opportunity to work with other ND leads from across Hampshire who work within NDMDTs.

You will be excited to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency workforce that works creatively across the city of Southampton to support children and young people with neurodiverse needs and their families. You will need to be able to work well in a pressurised environment and to be able to navigate competing priorities and demands. You will be able to manage your own workload and to be able to work well as part of a team, understanding that delivery of support for children, young, people and families is best delivered within partnership working.

You will have effective communication skills and be especially skilled at communicating with people who have neurodivergent communication needs. You will have experience of communicating with parents and carers as well as with children and young people.
