Full Job Description
You will work in theEast Neurodevelopmental Servicewhichcovers Wrexham and FlintshireinNorth Wales. The serviceoffers Neurodevelopmental assessment services to children and young people., The successful applicant will contribute their specialist knowledge and clinical experience to the neurodevelopmental team, supporting the assessment and management of the needs of young people.They will becompletingNeurodevelopmental assessments andpersonal strengths and needsprofiles. You will havepreviousknowledge or experience of working with children or young people with a ND profile.You will haveenthusiasm andskills to supportservicedevelopmentand contribute on a range of projects to ensure a co-ordinated service provision under the supervision of Band 7 colleagues.You willinterface witha range of other services, working collaboratively to support children, youngpeopleand their families., We offer a comprehensive and structured induction to all our new starters followed by high quality clinical supervision, regular team meetings and exciting CPD opportunities. You will receive regular management and clinical supervision.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.,
- oRecognised qualification degree / equivalent in S< oHCPC Registration oAble to demonstrate continuing professional development e.g. up to date, relevant CPD portfolio, oA range of clinical experience across Adult / Paediatric SLT services
- oExperience in service development / improvement
- oDelegation to non-registered staff, oExperience of leading multidisciplinary / multiprofessional teams
- oExperience of delivering / supporting service change
- oWelsh / English therapy provision, oEffective planning, time management and organisational skills
- oAwareness of principles of clinical governance / audit, oBroad knowledge of health legislation / policy
- oWelsh speaker
