Full Job Description

  • Design, manage and improve Acturis' network infrastructure across data centres, on-premise environments and Microsoft Azure, ensuring systems remain secure, resilient and highly available.
  • Take ownership of core networking technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and cloud connectivity, while troubleshooting complex technical issues and supporting business-critical services.
  • Work closely with cloud, security and infrastructure teams to deliver network improvements, strengthen security controls, automate processes where possible and support Acturis' ongoing cloud adoption.
    • We offer structured development, clear progression, and genuine ownership - whether that means leading projects, shaping strategy, or mentoring others. You'll work in a collaborative environment where strong performers progress quickly. You can expect:
  • A transparent progression structure, regular feedback, and annual performance reviews.
  • Opportunities to lead cross-functional projects, influence product direction, and support the growth of junior team members.
  • Comprehensive onboarding, ongoing professional development, and access to industry-recognised training.

Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks, with solid knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls and network security principles.
  • Experience with both traditional infrastructure and Microsoft Azure networking, including hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, a methodical approach to change management, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
    • Ready to use your expertise to help shape the future of insurance technology? Join Acturis and take on a role where your impact is immediate, your ideas matter, and your progression is limitless.

At Acturis, innovation isn't just part of our culture - it's in our DNA. Our journey began in 2000 in the garage of our co-founder, Theo Duchen, who-together with fellow former McKinsey partner David McDonald-set out to reinvent insurance technology. From those start-up beginnings, Acturis has grown into a global SaaS leader transforming the insurance industry. Today, over 100,000 users in 40+ countries rely on our platform to run and grow their businesses. By partnering closely with brokers, insurers, and MGAs, we continue to shape modern insurance across both personal and commercial lines. Recognised as a Great Place to Work® 2026 Acturis combines the agility and innovation of a start-up with the scale and stability of an industry leader. You'll join a team where expertise is valued, ideas move fast, and talented people make a real impact from day one. And as an EcoVadis Committed-rated organisation, we focus on creating long-term value by operating in a sustainable and responsible way.
