Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Netball Coach to coach senior girls' Netball sessions and fixtures. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role coaching competitive pupils at one of the country's leading schools. The coaching schedule for the spring term, from January 2027, is expected to be around six hours, as follows:

  • Monday afternoons (4.00pm - 5.30pm)
  • Wednesday afternoons (typically 2 - 2.5 hours, start time usually around 2.00pm but earlier for away fixtures)
  • Saturday mornings/afternoons (typically 2 - 2.5 hours, morning or afternoon dependent on fixture schedule)
  • We are also seeking some additional hours (to be agreed) for coaching and tournaments this term, commencing as soon as possible. Person Specification Essential:
  • Have a Level 2 Netball Coaching (or equivalent) qualification
  • Possess an umpire qualification (desirable) or a good knowledge of the umpiring rules
  • Have played to a high level/pathway player
  • Have a good level of technical expertise relating to Netball
